Heads up: If you suggest a movie, please make sure it’s playable on our projector setup (local file, DVD/Blu-ray, or a streaming service accessible from the host laptop). Bring any needed logins/cables so we can hit play without hiccups!

Easy, chill hike with beautiful forest + ocean views. Meet at the UVic bus loop Exchange Bay A at 10:00AM or Tod Inlet trail head on Wallace Drive (near Butchart Gardens) at approximately 11:45AM.

It is a bit of a distance to bus but a worth while trail.

I know some of you may be in research skills at the start of this, so please feel free to still join us a bit late.

This is the department's annual new student orientation. Learn about who the important people are in the department if you need any assistance; and vital information from the CSC graduate student handbook.

Free snacks will be provided at this event.

We, the CSCGSA, will be holding election so this is your chance to get involved and either run or vote. Also your opportunity to meet people can give feed back on what type of events you’d like to see.

Our positions exec positions are: President, VP, Treasurer, and Event Coordinator. Our liaison positions are: GSS GRC Council Rep (vital for funding), and Department Rep.

We will have a couple bylaw changes that we will be voting for. Mainly, we will be adding a Communications Officer executive position.
